Haute Couture Paris FW 2017-18, Yumi Katsura
Triune. Yumi Katsura wedding gown is definitely the most original of this Paris Haute Couture fashion week. It is composed by three brides: two brides have one shouder long dress respectively with the strap to the right and to the left and the third bride had a sleeveless gown with a V neckline. Each of them has a clove of a large fan. Put all together, with the one with the sleeveless in the centre, we obtain an original optical effect: one bride with a sleeveless dress, v-neck and on the vìback a large semi-circles.
Power of imagination and creativity of this extraordinary Japanese designer as evidenced by the haute couture fall/winter 2017-18 collection where her Japan has a new soul, always in the respect of tradition.
Diversity is a valuable asset and a gown is not sold only if it has a western taste and shapes, but above all, it should be sold always and only if it's nice.
The beauty has no homeland, it is universal and just like the three brides of Yumi Katsura is fragmented and scattered throughout the world. Seekers of the Eldorado of Haute Couture we recommend this: finding anywhere. Between kimono revisited with innovative cuts, wonderful night-gown coats with amazing patterned silk fully trimmed with colored fur are the cult pieces of ths valuable, elegant and refined collection that replaces the usual clichés on Japan at last with the truth about which direction the japanese Haute Couture is taking in this historic moment.
